Add a CommentTomorrow when the war began is a great book and the start of a great series. You cannot put it down. John Marsden is a genius. I highly recommend it.
This is a great book for teenagers, it includes love, war, tyranny and hope. Set in Australia...
Amazing book, along with all the others, great message of friendship. great author! 5/5
Absolutely love it, my favourite series along with 'The Hunger Games'! A great story of survival, friendship, fear, love, and whole lot more! I highly reccomend it!
Incredible book about growing up, that is suitable for anybody both boys and girls. I would recommend this book and the six others that follow it.
Tomorrow, When the War Began is excellent. As YA fiction goes, this book excels in capturing the feelings of teenagers in a realistic way. The situation these kids are in is extraordinary, but because their emotions are captured so well, you feel it is realistic. This book does have violence in it, but it is not gratuitous. I'm an adult and I found this book and its sequels compelling.
Tomorrow when the war began is a fantastic novel written by John Marsden. I love the way you become so attached to the characters, and it has a great storyline. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Great novel this one. Didn't read it in school, just leisurely, I recommend it.
this is a good book. I think it is very well written
This is the first in a 7 part series that is wonderfully well written, adventurous, with captivating characters. I do not want to say much about what it is about except to say that Australia has been invaded and a group of students who had been camping at the time of the invasion are forced to cope with the situation. Also, there are 3 follow-up novels -- The Ellie Chronicles. Good for all ages.
