Talk about a tear jerker. Loved this book. Fantastic characters, story, everything. It makes you believe in lasting love.

Sparks has yet to let me down. the book was much different then what i had expected after having seen the movie, but still a very good read.

Loved the movie since seeing it couple of years ago so I started to read the book and also fell in love with the book. also Loved the sequel "The Wedding" I've been a fan of Mr. Sparks' novels and I think these two romantic novels are the best so far out of all his books. Also highly recommended "Nights At rodanthe".

Absolutely amazing! I loved the movie, and was a little worried the book wouldn't be as good. But I loved it. The movie focused more on the early years between them. But it was nice hearing more of their story =] I absolutely fell in love with their characters. I'm currently reading 'the wedding' which is the sequel to the notebook ^_^

Great book, women of ages should read this! First time I've seen a movie and enjoyed it just as much!

I watched the movie and absolutely loved it. I am usually a fan of the books over the movie, so I decided to grab a copy of the book and I also loved it! This is one of the rare times where I love the movie just as much as I love the book. The book concentrates more on the later years than the early years when Noah and Allie first met, but you can still feel the passion and love and sparks in their relationship as much as when you watch the movie. Great read for all those romantics out there!

I definately don't even read romantic novels or cheesy love stories, but after seeing the movie, and LOVING the story... I decided to pick up the book. I LOVED IT SO MUCH! It's a little different than the movie but overall totally amazed me.

Amazing! I thought that nothing could compare to this wonderful movie, but as with most movies.....the book outshines it in every possible way. Definitely adding this book to my shelf of favorites

I loved how it had the classic tryangle and at the same time had something new the last chapter...

Absolutely breathtaking, I've read this novel numerous times and fall in love with it over and over and over again.
