Add a CommentThis was the first book I read by Nichols Sparks and became a avid reader of his books ever since. I loved the ending with this book, like all of his books, the endings are unpredicitable and leave you thinking about his stories.
this was one of Nicholas Sparks' sadder novels, that took me a while to get into. it turned out to be very excellent, with a surprising ending that i definitely did not anticipate, because of how he usually writes his novels. great book overall.
Another romantic title which I enjoyed.
A wonderful Sparks story EXCEPT for the ending. I didn't think the ending fit with the rest of the story; there seemed no point to it.
A really suprising book! When I started reading the book I was really happy with the story. I was really suprised with the end too. Like always Nicholas Sparks knows how to get a person interesting with his books. Highly recommend it, not just this book but all his books, especially "Dear Jhon", and "A Walk to Remmember"
Maybe it was the mood I was in when I read this, but despite liking previous Nicholas Sparks works (they brought me to tears), this one didn't do anything for me. I found it rather trite and the characters shallow. I didn't enjoy this.
"Message in a Bottle" was a very touching story. I found myself mesmerized whenever I'd read those letters starting off as "My Dearest Catherine". They were filled with such love, sorrow, and passion.
