Add a CommentI don't think I was in the mood to be told a ghost story when I picked up this book. My fault. I was on a plane, and not really into the bizarre plot structures and dreamlike prose. I'm sure it is a great book, but I just wasn't enticed.
This is my #1 favorite book by SK!!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! I've read it twice and recommend it to anyone who wants to read a weird story. Just love this story!! I think this is hands down one of SK's best books!!! Its slow in parts, but it makes up for it with all the stuff that happens!! I love this book and recommend it highly. I plan on reading it again, or perhaps listening to the audio sometime, after I read all the books on my 'to read list'. This book has it all-love, sadness, grief, greed, fear, everything, on top of strangeness. I would love to see a movie of this, the visual effects would be astounding, I'm guessing.
