Add a Commentit was the best book I read! I just thought right now by looking at a comment...I have goldfish already!
Excellent children's book, one of the best I have read in a while. Folktales are seamlessly woven into the novel, and the book holds a very important message. I'm considering buying it, and I usually dont buy books.
this is my favourite book.
This book was an unexpected treasure. Reading it to my 5 year old son and I love to hear him refer to the book throughout our every day life. Love the lessons, friendships, surprises, etc. I would Love LOVE to see this made into a movie.

A beautiful book with colourful illustrations and wonderful storytelling. I especially enjoyed how the author wove stories from Chinese folklore into the main storyline. A unique style in writing that was very nicely done! (^_^)=b
