Add a CommentIt was quite OTT, with a predictable ending and cliched moments. When the main characters are just imbued with super characteristics its hard not to roll your eyes after they survive the umpteenth attact unscathed. I had been tempted to start from the first one in the series but now that I've read this I'm glad I didn't wait. Guess this doesn't make me a Baldacci fan.
A Hard-to-put-down book from start to finish. Took me only a couple of hours to finish reading the book! One of the best works of Baldacci.
I almost stopped reading this book during the first few chapters as the lead protagonists were kind of annoying. But gradually, more interesting ones appeared & the plot took over. It's a cleverly written, fast paced thriller & you just have to know how it plays out & who is actually on which side. You'll pick out one of the "moles" fairly easily but the rest remain up in air til the final battle. My only complaint is a pet peeve...medical details (hospital treatments & procedures, etc.) that are incorrect but only because they're so easy to get right with a little research.
I love these Michelle Maxwell and Sean King stories. It's great to see a couple where the female could kick the guy's butt if she wanted too and he's fine with it. Baldacci had me doubting myself when I thought I had it figured out. I love a book that keeps me guessing
If you're a fan of David Baldacci then you will love this book. Classic Sean and Michelle novel. One of the best I've read.
I'm really enjoying this King and Maxwell series. I find it much more interesting than the Camel Club.
Good script but some scenarios need a leap of faith from readers. The ending was unecessary and added little to the plot in mho.
This is a great read with lots of twists and turns from beginning to end.Strongly recommend it!!
All I have to say about David Baldacci is that I wish he could write faster!! I look forward to each new release. The Sixth Man is another great addition to the Baldacci library! It is another gripping mystery/thriller that will have you turning pages late into the night!
A good read by David Baldacci. A++ BOOK
