Add a CommentA lovely discription of the lives of the young women and how they come to be together in unusual circumstances. The book starts of slow and build up to be very exciting. I can see how all the women except Betina came together. I would have liked to see more off her process in changing from a mean person to a reasonable and happy person.
I think this is my favourite book of hers so far. It was a really good story line and quite different from her usual story line.
Another winner from a great storyteller. It's interesting to see the arc of the subject matter in Ms. Weiner's books as she matures as a woman. A good read.
A favorite author of mine. This one was interesting, but didn't care for the ending. There was a character you really hated and didn't want to see win. I guess once you know her whole story, you were supposed to feel for her and cheer that she still survived.
Couldn't put it down. Great read!
Another great addition to the Jennifer Weiner reading collection!
Good easy read. First Jennifer Weiner novel I've read, and I'll definitely read more.
Jennifer Weiner does it again! A book about four very different women brought together by a common bond: a child. As always, Weiner has created wonderfully three-dimensional characters. Touches on issues of surrogacy and donorship.
An unexpected and unique story. It took me a bit to get "into" the plot, but once i dived into it, i couldn't put the book down.
Great read for all ages. How a blended family comes together to raise a child.
