An exhibition celebrating the collaboration between Christchurch City Libraries and the University of Canterbury, School of Fine Arts to document the people and physical environment of Christchurch communities in a time of rapid change.
Over the course of five years, over 1,500 images were made by University of Canterbury internship students that focused on five Christchurch communities. This exhibition is a selection of images curated by Senior Lecturer and Project Director, Tim Veling that showcase often overlooked moments of community life.
Discover the Christchurch Documentary Project with Tim Veling, Senior Lecturer Photography University of Canterbury, and well known photographer Doc Ross. They will explore the process of documenting a city and its people.
