Tuakiri Tasters: Digital Heritage Collection

Come along for a free taste of what the library’s Digital Heritage Collection has available. We will introduce you to our digital heritage repository, CanterburyStories, and its huge collection of online historical images and archives.

You'll learn how to find shipboard diaries about life aboard an immigrant ship during the nineteenth century, personal accounts of soldiers during conflict, as well as a variety of posters, including the Springbok tour and other ephemera.

This taster session will be ideal for those interested in social history or looking for primary sources for their research or other projects.
