Have you watched a shadow play before?

Do you know how it works?
This fun programme shows you all about shadow puppetry with fun, hands-on activities.

Learn all about shadow puppetry, the history and the stories behind them. You will get to make your own shadow puppets and write their stories. Finally, you will get to take turns telling the story you have written with a fun shadow play.
You can work by yourself or in a group. Help on story writing and shadow puppet making are provided.

Parents/caregivers are welcome to watch the shadow puppet play performed by participants at the end.


Ages: 7-12 years

Skills required: Competent reading, writing and speaking at a senior primary level (English language)

Cost: $FREE = Book online here (ticket sales start, Monday 30 May 9am)
