Sensory Hour

An opportunity for people with sensory sensitivities to relax and enjoy the library. 

During our sensory hour, we will be turning down the artificial lighting and minimising the activities happening on the floor. We will provide some special areas where children can sit in quiet spaces and experience different textures, sensory toys, weighted animals and fidgets. A PlayStation will be reserved for sensory hour visitors and Lego will be available in the curtained quiet space.

6-7pm, Mondays 5 December to 27 February
