Zine Club

3:00 PM – 4:15 PM
Upper Riccarton Library

Description

Who's this club for?

This is an inclusive club, open to intermediate and high-school aged students. Arrive anytime from 3pm and stay as long as you can.

During Zine Club you can learn about different zine-making techniques, meet other creators, and enjoy some arts and crafts. Whether you’re a poet, artist, photographer or none of the above – there’s a zine in you!

Some collage resources will be provided, but we encourage you to bring along your preferred art medium or device if you have one.

What's a zine?

Zines (pronounced zeens) are self-published booklets that can be hand-made through traditional cutting-and-pasting, or made online using design software. You can view our zine collections at Tūranga and smaller, pop-up collections at select libraries.
