Matt Heath is a well-known broadcaster, producer, actor, podcaster, TV personality and sports commentator. As well as co-hosting The Matt & Jerry Show on Radio Hauraki and the Daily Bespoke podcast, he is the co-owner of production company Vinewood Motion Graphics. For ten years he wrote a weekly column for the New Zealand Herald. Matt lives in Auckland city and is a father of two.
Why is it that no matter how good things get, we can still feel dissatisfied? A few years ago, Matt Heath decided to find a way to live a life less punishing. He took a deep dive into why we feel the way we do and how to change it, interviewing leading international thinkers in neuroscience, philosophy, biology and psychology on the reasons behind our unwelcome emotions: anger, worry, stress, loneliness and many more.
Matty Jordan is an International speaker, YouTuber, social media content creator, podcaster, professional project manager, civil engineer and Antarctican.
For nearly eight years, he was a project manager for New Zealand’s Antarctic Programme, delivering highly complex construction projects in support of world-leading climate science. He has spent 450 days in Antarctica over nine separate expeditions and in 2023, he wintered over at Scott Base, enduring 118 consecutive days without seeing the sun. While in Antarctica, he regularly posts content about what it is like to live and work in Antarctica. His videos (which have now been viewed one billion times) helped him grow a social media following of over 2.3 million people - the largest globally in the Antarctic niche.
He volunteers for the NZ Antarctic Society, is a Board Director for the US Antarctican Society, and an ambassador for the UK based charity 2041 School. Matty has been featured in The Guardian, The Daily Mail, The Sun, Newsweek, MIT Technology Review, LADBible, and more.
