I will forever love this movie. It has everything that early 90's Goth aesthetic brings to the table; heavy eyeliner, Trent Reznor covering Joy Division, and black, black, black. I'm absolutely willing to admit this is not a perfect film. Bits of dialogue are melodramatic, most of the "thugs" are one dimensional, and it was filmed with minimal lighting creating a very "dark" spectacle. HOWEVER, despite all this, it is one of the most heart-wrenching love stories I've ever seen. And one of the most darkly brilliant bad guys, played impressive by the Tom Waits-esque voiced Michael Wincott.

Interesting story and concept but poor execution and overly dark (literally, the lighting the entire movie was very dim). The acting was mediocre.

I always liked this movie; the story was unique. Watched it again with my granddaughters.

This film contains some good sound effects of explosions, guns, and the crow (the bird). Of course there 's the music and good action scenes of fighting. I have this movie as part of my collection and enjoyed it very much. It definately should be played on your HOMETHEATER. I"m giving this movie 4 stars. A very cool character, lots of bad guys, very cool bird, and a good story. Three beef paties filled with cheese, curry rice, and large ice tea.

A dark graphic novel/comic book epic that created the foundation for the next generation of Batman films.

Beautifully transitioned from a great graphic novel to film! Brandon Lee will be greatly missed after his mesmerizing performance in this movie. One of my favourite movies of all time, a cult classic!

Little things used to mean so much to Shelly- I used to think they were kind of trivial. Believe me, nothing is trivial.
