A view looking south east along High Street in the main business area of the township. The large two storied building on the left hand side of the street is the old Southbridge Hotel, which was adjacent to the old Royal Hotel, not long burnt down when this photo was taken. Only one building just visible beyond the hotel still stands (2004)
