There are some very cute designs in this book, however I did not like the layout of the book. The patterns and directions are all at the end of the book and all of the pictures are in the front. You must flip back and forth to match the pattern with the picture. I found that annoying. Also the descriptions were somewhat confusing for a beginner to embark on applique embroidery. I am a veteran so I guess I am a bit fussy over inspiring a newbie and making sure they understand what they are doing. :)
