Loved it. It wasn't as good as Anna and the French Kiss, but it was still amazing.

Stephanie Perkins sure does know how to write in a way that makes you feel all of the feels. It is so hard to not say the word "cute" when writing a review on one of her books, because they are just so gosh-darn adorable! Loved this and I have loved her short stories, and am really/excited sad to read Isla and the Happily Ever After because then I won't have anymore cuteness to read about. And sometimes you just need cuteness in your life.

Not quite as good as the first book but still a quick fun read. Will definitely pick up and read the third book in the series soon

Lola Nolan is an aspiring costume designer who still isn’t over the hurt caused by her neighbor Cricket Bell two years earlier. Lola isn’t particularly likeable and frequently comes across as ridiculous. Lola’s troubled biological mother becomes homeless, placing her fathers in a very difficult position, and Anna is only concerned about the Marie Antoinette costume she is making and the love triangle she has caused. Luckily the other characters make up for it. Anna and Etienne from the first book in the series are prominent characters. Cricket and Calliope Bell should have a spinoff book series all their own because their lives and sibling relationship seem far more interesting.

I loved Lola. I still do.

This book hooked me the minute the main character stated she didn't believe in fashion, she believed in costume. Lola is a budding costume designer living in San Fran with her two dads and dating a punk rock musician. Life pretty much seems awesome and she's looking forward to her last year of high school. Then her neighbors, the Bells, return after several years away. Now Lola must deal with the crush she had on Cricket Bell, who incidentally happens to be madly in love with her. Is it possible to be friends with someone who's in love with you? Will her romance with the musician survive Cricket? More importantly, will her Marie Antoinette outfit for the Winter Formal get finished in time?
