If you had a second chance at first love ...would you take it? It's been three years since Adam's love saved Mia after the accident that annihilated life as she knew it ...and three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever. Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Julliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future and each other. Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, powerful prose that defined If I Stay, "Where She Went" explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

I loved If I Stay and Where She Went very much. It was a mystery all the way and i couldnt put the books down. Read each of them in 2 days. I loved the endings too. I will read more of this author. Hope she writes more books in the future.

I read and watched if i stay and i didn't like the ending so i decided to read where she went but I wasn't satisfied with it either. The story is from Adams point of view and happens 3 years after if i stay. The whole story happens in like 2 days and every second chapter is a random flashback mostly about the band wich has nothing to do with the story.

These books are amazing. Every page is suspenseful and left me wondering what happens next. This is an amazing author.

I believe that this is the worst rating I have ever given a book. It was one of those rare books that I felt obligated to read, dream walked through it, and came out of it like nothing changed. The whole book didn't impact me at all, and I didn't feel anything at they key parts. My suggestion to those that enjoyed the first book is to not read this one, because it kind of destroyed the first book's concepts for me. However, one can do whatever one wants. The ending was too predictable, but also too awkward that if it had ended any differently, the whole story would be too open ended. I read this for closure, and too less was given. 2/5 stars

I hated this book, but for reasons you're probably not thinking. It made me so sad!
No really, I liked this book so much more than I liked If I Stay (which I hated). At first I wasn't happy about switch narratives to Adam, but then I was happy to see things from his point of view.

And, let's be honest, this story is not realistic. At all.

I didn't like this one as much as If I Stay. I couldn't really get into it and forced myself to read it. But Gayle Forman's writing is beautiful and it's hard not to like. I really did like this series and enjoyed reading it.

Good book! Honestly have to say it was not as good as If I Stay, but definitely still worth the read.
The ending was brilliantly written to wrap up these two books.

When I read the first book i thought it couldn't get better, but it did. I could not have guessed what was going to happen to Mia and Adam. From the beginning to the end, I was hung up and I couldn't stop reading. It was really great to have Adam's POV.

Beautifully written sequel with Adam's song lyrics setting the stage for various revelations about his feelings of grief and loss after the events that took place since the end of If I Stay. This book was deep and honest about how people deal with grief in different ways and how they can inadvertently hurt those they love as a result. I appreciated the hopeful ending where healing is beginning.

Sexual Content: It doesn't say anything, but u know that they, um, "Get Close" almost at the end of the book. But it doesn't say anything about it.

Coarse Language: also so funny for inmature kids who likes to say the language so much. however, definitely for teens.

paigers9081 Jun 07, 2011

Coarse Language: Although funny, this book does contain language that I don't recommend for younger audiences. Definitely for teens!!!
