List - Best reads of 2016
Donna_R Oct 30, 2016

I reckon NZ women writers and poets killed it this year. And Hera Lindsay Bird is definitely on that list. Lots of publicity, hype, and bestseller status for this one, but she deserves it. Hera is the Killer Queen of Similes.

Masha's pick: Poetry has never been so much fun! Fun, fun fun! There was poetry before Hera and there is poetry after Hera. And psssssttt! She is also pretty naughty!

Donna's pick: Lots of publicity, hype, and bestseller status for this one, but Hera Lindsay Bird deserves it. She's the Killer Queen of Similes. NZ has such great poets!!!
