An unpublished letter, dated Aylesford, August 30, 1851, and furnished to the regular members of the Church Missionary Committee and to a few private friends, accompanied by a statement of the case of Archdeacon Henry Williams's land claims. The writer, who was a brother-in-law of Archdeacon Williams, defends him from the imputations of Governor Grey, Bishop Selwyn, and the committee of the Church Missionary Society. Also adverts to the cases of Messrs. Clarke and King. - Hocken, p.161.
