One of the best books I've read lately. A gentle read but full of the conflicting decisions people have to make to readapt to life after war. The successes and disappointments, recovering a sense of normality, dealing with the things people are forced to do in war. Sohail chooses to put Allah first over the well being of his son Zaid. Maya retains her revolutionary spirit. You've got to read this book!!
