Things are really happening in the eighth season of HIMYM. Marshall and Lily go through a tumultuous amount of changes, as Robin and Barney each take their share of steps to become the people they want to be. Finally, there's Ted, our main character who somehow gets lost in the mix; his hunt for the perfect woman, the mother we've yet to meet, is scattered with all the frogs he has to kiss beforehand. And some of those frogs are very, uh, interesting, shall we say. I really enjoyed this season. It is closing in on the end of the series and it really shows how far these characters we love so much have come, such a departure from the hanging chad and "Have you met Ted...?" bar games. Needless to say, you should love the special episode "The Final Page", but even the finale (and we all know how HIMYM is with their cliffhanger finales) has so much going on that you are on the edge of your seat and yelling, "C'mon!" when it inevitably leaves you hangin'. I cannot wait for next season. I highly recommend HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
