Robot Week at Shirley Library- Hands-on Activity: The AI Playground
Join us for a fun and interactive session where you'll get to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) works - no coding or experience required!
Try out simple, engaging activities that reveal how AI learns, makes decisions, and sometimes gets it wrong. Whether you're curious about how a chatbot works, want to train a mini machine to recognise patterns, or just explore the surprising ways AI shows up in daily life, there’ll be something for everyone - kids, adults, and lifelong learners alike.
Come along and play your way to a better understanding of the tech shaping our world!
This session will be delivered by our special guests, Angel Moore, a PhD candidate and Associated Professor Kathryn MacCallum from the University of Canterbury.
