Event description

Are you interested in learning about the school lives of your ancestors? This free workshop will look at historical information on local schools, students and teachers. We’ll cover changes in education in Canterbury in the 19th and early 20th centuries, and explore what records, images and information you can find in the library’s physical and digital collection.


When: 10am-12pm, Wednesday 13 May 

Where: Wahi Whakaako / Teaching Room Tuakiri Level 2, Tūranga

Requirements: Basic computer skills
