Sporty Reading: A Sports Biography Book Club - Guest speaker: Antony Bush
A book club for people who enjoy reading sports biographies. Join us on the last Tuesday of the month for a casual discussion about the latest sports biography you’ve read, or any old favourites. We will also have guest speakers occasionally to chat to us about their sporting life and favourite sports biographies.
The guest speaker this time is Antony Bush, an author, speaker and ‘movement activist’ who has been interviewed and featured widely on TVNZ, Radio NZ, the NZ Herald and The Habits of High Performers podcast. A previous NZ Winter Olympic Team Physiotherapist, he has treated Olympic gold medallist rowers, alpine skiers, World Championship Triathletes and members of the All Blacks. He is author of The Back Fix a comprehensive ‘how-to’ for all pain sufferers advocating movement and mindfulness as a way back to enjoying a less-stressed, more-productive, pain-free, self-empowered life.
Please note the later start time of 6pm.
