Ōtautahi National Flash Fiction Day is the local celebration of NZ National Flash Fiction Day - short fiction on the shortest day of the year.

: 5.30pm for free kai, 6-7.30pm readings, winners and more
Where: Tautoru/TSB Space, Hapori | Community, Level 1, Tūranga

Come along to hear some of the best flash and micro fiction from Ōtautahi writers and the celebrate the announcement of winners of NZ National Flash Fiction Day 2026 adult & youth competition and international Micro Madness competition.
