Te Iwa o Matariki - Tamariki

The Māori New Year has always been celebrated with the rise of the star cluster Matariki. To encourage understanding of Matariki we have created a list of children's pukapuka (books) relating to the Nine Stars of Matariki. Each whetū (star) have their own meaning and books have been chosen to help support the idea of each whetū, aswell as a few books on Matariki.
