   Sometimes I wonder why these books don't get the recognition they deserve. They're hilarious, horrifying and well written. One scene in particular cracked me up. Brilliant.

   This is a good one to read if you weren't in Canterbury for the 2010-2011 earthquakes, but want to know what it was like. It really brought back the emotions.

    My number one read of 2014! I'm not normally an epic fantasy reader, but this book is amazing. Perhaps wait until the third and final book is released before you start reading them - the waiting is torture!
