General fiction - Humour - Christchurch City Libraries

It's been said that everything is funny - as long as it's happening to somebody else! Whether your preference is for dark and scathing, satirical, political, serious or farcical, there's something here to tickle every funny bone. The stories are witty, with clever use of language; and whilst the characters are a varied bunch, they are memorable and well-developed, often plonked far out of their element for maximum comedic effect. A Christchurch City Libraries list.
