Illustrated Biographies - War and Conflict - Christchurch City Libraries

If you enjoy true stories about people's lives during war or political and social upheaval, you may enjoy one of these graphic biographies. This genre illustrates (pun intended!) , through the real experiences of those living through it, the harsh realities of war and conflict. These range from being darker in tone, to quite light and funny, and cover WWI and WWII, to the Iranian Revolution, Civil Rights Movement and political kidnappings.
