Our Global English course is designed to help students speak, read and write English, just like it's their native language. For students setting out to learn English, they'll get to experience English as it's spoken and used correctly worldwide. For native English speakers, our series will help students brush up on their language, communication and grammar skills. We'll take students from English language beginner to expert, with our step-by-step interactive lessons and personalised tutor. No matter what level of proficiency students start at, our Global English course will keep students engaged and on track to complete mastery of the English language. It's easy to learn and easy to follow with basic learning modules. For International students who want to study in an English-speaking country but come from a country that doesn't recognize English as its national language, they will need to pass a certain level of English to apply for English-speaking jobs and Universities. The two most widely used exams are the IELTS and TOEFL, accepted by thousands of universities and other organisations. Our course will teach students to get to the level of proficiency needed to pass these exams. Our host Alissa Olgun is the founder of the California Language Academy and has worked in the ESL industry as a teacher and administrator for over 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Literature, a Master of Education in TESOL and a CELTA certification (the top-tier certificate for ESL teaching). The academy has successfully welcomed students from all over the world to teach students how to prepare, study, take and pass the academic exams (IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC). The academy also guides students into specific university programs as part of its mission.
