"The Canterbury Wellbeing Index was produced by Community and Public Health (a division of the Canterbury District Health Board and now part of the National Public Health Service) from 2016 to 2023. This project was funded as part of the recovery following the 2010/11 earthquake series in Canterbury. This funding stream has come to end so there is no plan to conduct to the Canterbury Wellbeing Survey again or to continue to update the Canterbury Wellbeing Index, including this website. We appreciate that many have found the Index a valuable resource over time and we are grateful for your support of this project over the years. Here you can find a wide range of information about the wellbeing of the greater Christchurch population and how this has changed over time. The Index is organised into three main sections: Our Wellbeing - describing the wellbeing of the greater Christchurch population across 50+ indicators.
