The islands of Tuvalu are under threat of being made completely uninhabitable due to the effects of climate change. In A Floating World,the author presents photographs from his collection which shows something of the character of the atolls and the fragile nature of their existence. It could be that Tuvalu will soon disappear beneath the ocean but at least pictures will remain to help serve the record of what it once was.
