Devlin is a troubled teenager living in foster homes, with a reputation for running away. His case worker gives him one last chance, if he promises not to run away he can go and live with a distant relative, Uncle George, on his farm. Devlin reluctantly agrees. Little does he know that Uncle George is equally reluctant to have him. But when he gives Devlin responsibility for a racehorse, he discovers a different side to him.
